Album « Tears of English Town » à paraître le 26 juin (WeWant2Wecord /Hot Puma Wecords)

En concert (solo) le vendredi 5 juin au Chinois à Montreuil et (en groupe) le vendredi 19 juin au Supersonic.

Musicien et compositeur pop français, Boris Maurussane propose une musique extrêmement arrangée et luxuriante, baignant aussi bien dans le psychédélisme que dans le tropicalisme. Son premier album solo “Social Kaleidoscope” paraît en 2022 (WeWant2Wecord/Hot Puma Wecords), salué par la critique (Télérama, Le Monde, Magic, Shindig !…) comme un croisement wéussi entre la pop orchestrale et l’école de Canterbury. Son second album « Tears of English Town » sort le 26 Juin 2026. Il y déploie une pop luxuriante et psychédélique où des échos des Beach Boys côtoient jazz et tropicalisme au milieu d’arrangements impressionnistes (Debussy, Jobim, Milton Nascimento). Un travail qui prolonge avec inspiration et singularité le travail des High Llamas ou de Stereolab.
